Cardiac Cath Lab RN — 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join the interventional cardiac team. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment, supporting diagnostic catheterizations, interventions, and electrophysiology cases.

Schedule & Details

• 4 × 10-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (days)
• 2–3 call shifts per week
• 1 weekend per month
• 13-week contract
• Location: Palmdale, CA

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all current, AHA)
• Minimum 2 years ED or Critical Care experience
• Interventional Cardiac, Radiology, or EP experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure patient assessments
• Develop individualized care plans and communicate with the care team
• Anticipate physician needs; select and prepare instrumentation and supplies
• Administer moderate sedation and manage patient pain per protocol
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms; intervene as indicated
• Conduct time-outs and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Document findings and patient responses; adapt care plans as needed
• Mentor new staff and participate in performance improvement initiatives
