Med/Surg Telemetry — Night Shift | Burlington, MA

13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

This Med/Surg Telemetry position places you on a busy inpatient unit managing a diverse adult patient population across a range of acuity levels. Float responsibilities may include ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units, so adaptability is essential.

Schedule & Hours

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• Every other weekend required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for nights)
• Weekly start dates (Mondays); anticipated start November 30, 2026

Clinical Requirements

• Trauma experience strongly preferred; required for candidates without prior travel experience
• Day-one pass/fail clinical assessment administered upon start
• Practice assessments available in advance via online learning platform

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) — required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS — preferred

Additional Details

• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and boarding units as needed
• Candidates must have been separated from any role within this health system for a minimum of six months (permanent, per diem, or contract) to be eligible
