Progressive Care Unit – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment managing patients with moderate to high acuity needs.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts Medical Assistant license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – AHA
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – AHA
- Minimum 2+ years of healthcare experience in a similar hospital setting, including trauma hospital and travel assignment experience
- Flu vaccine required prior to start date
- Must have been separated from this facility for at least 6 months (applies to permanent, per diem, and travel assignments)
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
