Electrophysiology (EP) RN — Travel Contract

Rancho Mirage, CA | Days | 13-Week Contract

This EP Lab RN position offers a straight day schedule with no call, no weekends, and no holidays — an excellent opportunity for an experienced EP nurse looking for a focused, procedural environment caring for adult and geriatric patients.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour days, 06:00–18:30
• No call, no weekends, no holidays
• Flexibility with scheduling is expected; block scheduling is rarely granted

Clinical Scope

You'll work in an electrophysiology lab performing a range of advanced cardiac procedures, including:

• Cardiac ablation and mapping
• Arrhythmia induction and conduction studies
• Cardioversion
• Insertion and programming of AICDs
• Pacemaker insertion
• Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure
• Scrub procedures

Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and rapid response teams.

Required Certifications & Skills

• ACLS, BLS (required)
• Minimum 2 years of EP experience
• Previous travel experience required

Preferred

• CCI RCES certification

Additional Requirements

• Active California RN license required at time of submittal
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• Floats within skill set as needed
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• One reference required for submittal
• Scrubs provided by the facility
