Registered Nurse – Med/Surg
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care in a med/surg setting. You will supervise and direct assigned nursing staff, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and apply critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 36 hours/week
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Location: Fort Bragg, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and analyze clinical data to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Supervise and delegate tasks to various levels of nursing staff
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment
- Educate patients and family members on health management
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure care continuity
- Coordinate care delivery using established nursing standards and the nursing process
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (CA)
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS certification
- At least 2 years recent acute care experience
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
