Medical-Surgical Telemetry – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry nurse for a 13-week contract assignment, working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll provide care to acute and step-down patients on a monitored telemetry unit in a trauma hospital setting.
Schedule & Guarantee
- 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
- No float requirement
- All time off must be submitted at the time of application
Required Qualifications
- Current MA RN license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a similar hospital setting
- Demonstrated travel and trauma hospital experience
- Must have been separated from this facility for 6+ months (in any capacity: permanent, per diem, or travel)
- Flu vaccine required prior to start date; no religious exemptions
What You'll Do
Deliver skilled nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring, medication administration, wound management, and patient education. You'll work independently within a collaborative team environment in an active trauma hospital.
