Ultrasound Technologist – Radiology
Position Overview
The facility's Radiology Department is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a collaborative team performing general, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging studies.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 10-hour day shifts with variable days
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- On-call: 1–2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
You'll perform 8–10 ultrasound studies per day, including:
- General and OB/GYN ultrasound
- Vascular imaging
- Procedures, drain placement, and biopsies
No floating to other departments required. In-house radiologist support available (except on call).
Requirements
- ARDMS certification (RDMS – General or OB/GYN, or RVT)
- BLS (AHA)
- Strong General and OB/GYN ultrasound experience; vascular experience preferred
- Valid driver's license (60-mile radius)
- Must be in-state for orientation week (some modules may be remote)
Work Environment
- 4 ultrasound rooms
- Professional-color scrubs (provided)
- No IV starts required
- Department-specific orientation provided
Cancellation Policy
The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
