Med/Surg Telemetry — Night Shift | Burlington, MA

13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This Med/Surg Telemetry position offers 24 hours per week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed, excluding on-call) on a busy inpatient unit managing a mixed acuity population with telemetry monitoring needs. Prior high-acuity trauma experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule & Float Expectations

• 12-hour night shifts; flexibility to work both day and night shifts as needed
• Every other weekend required (Fri/Sat/Sun for night shift)
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed
• Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks during your shift
• Weekly start dates (Mondays); anticipated start November 30, 2026

Patient Population

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
• Prior telemetry/Med-Surg experience required
• High-acuity or trauma experience strongly preferred; required if no prior travel nursing experience

Additional Notes

• Day-one pass/fail clinical competency testing will be administered
• Practice assessments available for preparation prior to start
• Candidates must have been separated from this health system for a minimum of 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract) to be considered
