Operating Room (OR) Scrub & Circulate Nurse — Bronx, NY
This 13-week contract brings you into a busy acute care surgical environment in the Bronx, NY, supporting a broad range of operative specialties. The position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
Surgical Specialties Supported:
- Orthopedics
- Neuro spine
- Podiatry
- Gynecology (GYN)
- Genitourinary (GU)
- General surgery
- Robotic surgery
- Vascular surgery
Role Expectations:
Candidates must be comfortable in both scrub and circulating roles. This is a high-volume surgical environment requiring adaptability across multiple service lines.
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Flu vaccination
- Experience scrubbing and circulating across the listed specialties
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Estimated start: November 2026
- Cancellation policy: No call-off policy; 14 days written notice required for cancellation
