Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Cypress, TX

This is a 13-week night shift contract (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a fast-paced Emergency Department located in Cypress, TX. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week.

Unit Overview

The ED manages a broad range of acuity levels, with clinical scope that includes stroke intervention (tPA administration), STEMI care, laceration repair, orthopedic care, and resuscitation. The unit operates with structured staffing on each shift, including charge, , bedside RNs, a health unit coordinator, and a tech.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience (required)
• Active RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC

Shift & Scheduling

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• No on-call obligations
• No floating required
