ICU Night Shift Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll provide direct care to critically ill patients, with clinical responsibilities spanning ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive and sedation titration, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management.
Requirements
- MA license (may apply at time of offer)
- BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certification
- 2–3 years of related ICU or acute care experience
- CCRN preferred
- Pass/Fail ECG, telemetry, and medication competency exams on Day 1
Shift Details
- 12-hour nights, every other weekend required
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Start date: 12/08/2026
Clinical Scope
You'll care for post-STEMI patients and high-acuity cases requiring continuous monitoring and intervention. Float coverage to the PACU, step-down units, and ED for holding patients is expected as needed.
What We're Looking For
This role suits nurses comfortable with the intensity of critical care, capable of managing complex titrations and dysrhythmia management, and ready to flex across related units. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and post-cardiac intervention care is essential.
