Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in a med/surg telemetry float pool position. You'll be assigned a home unit and rotate between day and night shifts on a regular schedule, working every other weekend plus holidays. One week per four-week period requires a modified schedule of three 8-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift.

Schedule & Commitment

• 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)
• Contract guarantee: 72 hours biweekly
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Weekly orientations begin Mondays
• Start date: November 30, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license
• 2+ years clinical experience
• Level I trauma experience mandatory
• Prior travel nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• EMR proficiency
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted)

Important Details

• Float pool position — you'll have a designated home unit but may be flexed to other areas as needed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates cannot have worked at this facility as permanent or per diem staff within the past year
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Parking available (approximately $43/day); public transportation also available
