Emergency Room RN — Freestanding Emergency Department | Austin, TX

13-Week Contract | Evenings into Overnight | 36 Hours Guaranteed/Week

This position is based in a freestanding emergency department setting, providing acute, episodic emergency care to patients across the acuity spectrum. The unit operates with a small, close-knit team focused on collaborative, efficient patient care.

Shift Details

• Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Weekends: Rotating
• Call Requirements: None
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Clinical Scope

• IV line placement
• 12-lead EKG interpretation
• Comprehensive patient assessment
• Ventilator management
• Point-of-care laboratory testing

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Texas or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience *(candidates with less than 2 years will not be considered)*
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior freestanding emergency department (FSED) experience
