Travel RN – Emergency Department

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Thornton, CO. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you'll manage diverse patient presentations and acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026

About the Unit

Clinical Scope

You'll perform rapid ESI , comprehensive assessments, pain management, sepsis and stroke screening, trauma activations (Levels 1 & 2), procedural sedation, blood administration, pediatric emergency care, and behavioral health crisis intervention. Standard procedures include vital monitoring, EKG, IV insertion, blood cultures, medication administration, and wound care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year current ED RN experience
• BLS, ALS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• NIH Stroke certification
• CPI (Certified Patient Interaction)

Preferred Experience

• Trauma Level 1 or 2 facility background
• Prior electronic health record experience
