Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking two Registered Nurses for its Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
Clinical Environment
You'll provide direct care to critically ill cardiac patients in a specialized ICU setting. The unit manages post-operative cardiac surgery patients, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmia management, and hemodynamic monitoring. Expect high-acuity patients requiring close clinical assessment, vasoactive medication titration, and frequent intervention.
Requirements
- Current RN license (California)
- ACLS certification required
- CCRN preferred
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and invasive hemodynamic lines
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently on a night shift team
