CCU / ICU Registered Nurse | Elizabethtown, KY | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN position supports a critical care unit managing high-acuity, complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced life support interventions.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Full-time; on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays required
• Start date: November 30, 2026 | Contract length: 13 weeks

Clinical Scope

You will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including administering titratable vasoactive and sedation drips, managing arterial lines, central lines, and ventilator-dependent patients, and conducting ongoing hemodynamic monitoring. Responsibilities also include rapid response and code participation, interdisciplinary care coordination with intensivists and physicians, and timely patient education and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky (or applicable compact license)
• BLS required; ACLS required
• ADN/ASN accepted; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care experience
• CCRN certification preferred
