CCU / ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift
Corbin, KY | 13-Week Contract | Start: November 30, 2026
This travel RN opportunity is in a Coronary/Critical Care Unit providing intensive nursing care to hemodynamically complex and critically ill patients. Night shift runs 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM on 12-hour shifts. The position is full-time and may require on-call shifts, as well as weekend and holiday coverage.
Clinical Scope
Nurses in this unit manage high-acuity patients requiring continuous monitoring, vasoactive and sedation drip titration, mechanical ventilation management, and hemodynamic support via arterial lines and central lines. You will collaborate closely with intensivists and an interdisciplinary team, respond to rapid response and code events, and lead patient and family education around condition management and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky (or applicable compact license)
- BLS and ACLS required
- ADN/ASN required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care experience required
- Proficiency with critical care equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
- CCRN certification preferred
