Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to join a fast-paced, high-volume team managing patients across a wide spectrum of emergent and urgent conditions. You'll work in a dynamic environment where clinical judgment, quick thinking, and compassionate care are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• and rapidly assess incoming patients to determine acuity and prioritize care
• Provide comprehensive nursing interventions for trauma activations, codes, and acute deterioration
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures per physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and manage patients through admission, transfer, or discharge
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members on plan of care
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Maintain efficient patient flow in a high-volume environment
• Uphold infection control, safety, and de-escalation protocols

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (state or compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Proficiency with protocols and high-acuity environments
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted
• TNCC or CEN certification preferred

Shift & Contract Details

• Schedule: 3×12 (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM), including weekends and holidays
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Location: Radcliff, KY
