Registered Nurse – Med Surg Telemetry Float Pool
Position Overview
The facility is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract in a Med Surg Telemetry float pool. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a guaranteed 72 hours biweekly, floating across medical-surgical telemetry units and overflow areas as needed. Weekends and holidays are expected.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
- Documented professional developmental activities
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
Important Testing & Onboarding
You must pass a Dysrhythmia/ECG and Medications test during onboarding—one attempt only, 85% passing score, administered via Zoom prior to your start date. You'll have 48 hours from your offer to complete it. The facility provides a study guide; preparation is strongly recommended as there is no opportunity for remediation or retesting.
Biweekly orientation begins upon hire.
