Night Shift Respiratory Therapist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift contract. You'll work three 12-hour shifts weekly from 18:30 to 07:00, with weekends required and no call responsibilities.

Clinical Scope

You'll deliver respiratory care across critical care and emergency department settings. Your responsibilities include:

• Airway management and bronchoscopy assisting
• Ventilator management and weaning protocols
• BiPAP and CPAP therapy
• ABG sampling and interpretation
• Full spectrum of respiratory care modalities

Requirements

• NBRC RRT credentials; valid Ohio respiratory therapy license
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in adult critical care or emergency medicine
• Ability to float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities

Unit Details

• Black scrubs
• No floating or on-call duties (night shift only)
• Weekends mandatory

Time Off

All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. Limited holiday RTO availability—you may request one day surrounding each major holiday.

Vaccines

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered). COVID-19 vaccine not required.
