Medical Laboratory Technologist – Blood Bank
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join the Blood Bank team on a 13-week contract. You'll work four 10-hour shifts per week, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, serving a diverse patient population including adults and neonates.
Clinical Scope
This role focuses on blood bank operations, including:
- Erytra Gel and Tube testing
- Blood bank computer system management
- Analyzer operation for precise testing
- Transfusion support and compatibility testing
Requirements
- ASCP or AMT certification (required)
- Blood banking experience
- Proficiency with blood bank information systems
