Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care on a telemetry unit. You will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- 36- or 48-hour weekly options
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data; identify diagnoses and care priorities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care and patient/family education
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing and support staff
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams
- Participate in discharge planning and care transitions
- Delegate appropriately and manage team workflows
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current CPR certification
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
This is a night-shift position requiring flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to lead a care team in a fast-paced telemetry environment.
