Emergency Department Nurse – 4x12 Day Shift

Position Overview

You'll care for acutely ill adult patients including those with STEMI, stroke, and Level 2 trauma presentations.

Shift & Schedule

• 4x12-hour days: 11:00–23:00
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• Contract: 13–26 weeks available

Patient Care & Ratios

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and MOAB certifications
• Competency in IV starts, , telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Current RN license (NC or Compact; pending license OK at submission)
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC certification
• Trauma experience

What to Expect

• 36–48 hour orientation
• Navy blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Up to 7 days pre-approved time off (restrictions apply; see details)
• Strong emphasis on teamwork and adherence to call-off policy
