Oncology Infusion Nurse — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

This outpatient oncology infusion role is based in a Medical Oncology setting, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (8-hour shifts based on department needs). No weekend shifts. This is a 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Clinical Scope

Nurses in this role provide care across the full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient oncology infusion, including:

• Administration of chemotherapy (IV push and infusion), antifungals, antivirals, coagulation factors, and blood/blood products
• Body fluid handling post-chemotherapy
• Care and management of ports and PICC lines
• Infusion pump management and intravenous hydration
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs

Float coverage to all other infusion locations within the facility is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant infusion/oncology experience
• BLS and Chemotherapy certification (ONS or ONCC) required
• Active New York RN license required prior to submission
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills
