RN – Emergency Department

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Scrubs: Navy

About the Role

You'll provide direct nursing care in the emergency department, implementing and monitoring patient care plans while maintaining clear communication with the healthcare team. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document findings thoroughly
• Coordinate care across multiple disciplines to ensure seamless patient flow
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision
• Prepare patients for procedures and diagnostic testing
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and support staff

• Current RN license (verification required)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Flexibility and composure under pressure

Required Credentials & Screening

Standard onboarding includes drug screening, background check, immunization verification (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, influenza, TB screening), fit testing, and competency assessments including EKG and specialty exams.
