Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Shift & Schedule
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 guaranteed hours per week
13-week contract
About the Role
You'll provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Your responsibilities include:
- Implementing and monitoring patient care plans
- Assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions
- Coordinating care across all clinical disciplines
- Executing physician and nursing orders
- Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required via Nursys)
- Standard health screenings and vaccinations (drug screen, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing)
- Competency in core nursing skills and EKG interpretation
- Professional references and employment verification
What to Expect
You'll work in a high-acuity emergency environment wearing navy scrubs. Onboarding includes facility-specific orientation, competency validation, and system training. All credentialing requirements will be clearly outlined upon placement.
