About the Unit

This busy main OR performs a broad range of surgical cases across multiple specialties. Procedures include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgery. The suite includes hybrid cardiovascular, cystoscopy, and multipurpose operating rooms. No transplant procedures are performed.

Schedule & Call Expectations

• Day shift with an experienced team of RNs and surgical techs
• On-call requirement: 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month, plus 3–4 evening (17:00–19:00) call shifts per month
• Call teams cover neuro, cardiovascular, and general surgery

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital OR experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Circulating and scrubbing experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior circulating and scrubbing experience
• Familiarity with video tower and advanced OR equipment
