Shift & Schedule

• Days: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion

Contract Details

• Duration: 26 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Guaranteed hours with one allowable call-off per two-week pay period
• Must commit to 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application

Unit Overview

This acute care orthopedic unit manages adult patients across a range of surgical and trauma diagnoses, including total joint replacements, arthroplasty, spine surgery, and multi-trauma. The unit also serves as med/surg overflow. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. Remote telemetry monitoring is utilized.

Required Skills & Procedures

• Central line care, PICC line management, port access
• Blood product administration, PCA management
• BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula management
• Chest tube care, wound care/wound vac
• Peripheral nerve block catheter management
• Continuous bladder irrigation, traction, lumbar drains
• Ortho trauma, total joint replacement, substance withdrawal

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• BLS required
• Valid compact license required at time of submission
• First-time travelers welcome
• Locals accepted
• Scrub color: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
• Free parking on site
