Nights | 13-Week Contract
This busy postpartum unit focuses exclusively on high-acuity mother-baby couplets, with low-risk patients cared for at a separate off-site LDRP. The unit sees a high delivery volume and manages complex postpartum cases requiring attentive, skilled nursing care.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Flexible scheduling; the team is willing to work with travelers
Clinical Scope
- High-risk postpartum patient population
- POC glucose monitoring
- Breastfeeding support and lactation assistance
- Postpartum hemorrhage management
- Hypertension assessment and management
- Circumcision assistance
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current postpartum hospital experience
- BLS and NRP (required)
- High-risk postpartum experience (preferred)
- Level 2 Nursery experience (preferred)
