Cath Lab RN – 26-Week Contract
Position Overview
Join the cardiac catheterization lab at our facility in Charleston, SC. This is a 26-week travel assignment ideal for experienced cath lab nurses seeking flexibility and excellent work-life balance. Local candidates are welcome.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Call: 7–9 days monthly, including at least one weekend per month
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Clinical Setting
You'll work in a busy two-lab interventional cardiology suite performing approximately 10 cases daily. The unit specializes in:
- Left heart catheterization (LHC)
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
- Permanent pacemaker (PPM) placement
- Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support
Requirements
- RN license (required)
- Proven cath lab experience
- Strong knowledge of emergency medications and advanced cardiac life support protocols
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
