Position Overview
Join the telemetry unit for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Pattern: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
- NIHSS certification
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line placement
What You'll Do
Monitor and care for patients on continuous telemetry; perform IV insertions and PICC placements; respond to cardiac rhythm changes and patient needs; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient safety and positive outcomes.
