CT Technologist — Travel Contract
Mission Viejo, CA | 13-Week Assignment
This acute care facility is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an evening/night rotation covering a high-volume imaging department that serves a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Shift & Schedule
- 4x10-hour shifts; start times vary between 15:00–18:00 depending on unit need
- No on-call required
- Rotating weekends — expect frequency beyond every other weekend to meet department needs
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (R) and CRT
- BLS
- Fluoroscopy Permit
- Active California state license (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
Clinical Scope
You'll perform a broad range of CT procedures, including:
- Contrast and non-contrast studies (head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, soft tissue neck)
- Vascular CTA and pulmonary embolism studies
- Brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and calcium scoring
- CT-guided biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
- Enterography, colonography, and myelography
- Multiplanar reconstruction and 3D rendering (MIP, volume rendering, surface shaded display)
- Starting peripheral IVs and contrast administration

- Float to a nearby sister facility may be required; refusal may affect guaranteed hours
