Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Mayfield Heights, OH

This 13-week travel contract places you on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for a diverse medical-surgical patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The role offers consistent night shift hours in a structured, clinically focused environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights | 3×12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required at submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• NIHSS certification required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty within the past 12 months

Compliance & Onboarding

• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments are completed during orientation; two attempts maximum to pass
• Pre-start modules required (average 6–15 hours); 4 hours are billable
• Background check required; no open cases or license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required; medical/religious exemptions considered

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Extensions available up to 18 months of continuous service; a 6-month break is required thereafter
• Travelers may be submitted for only one position at this health system at a time
