Stepdown RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment beginning December 4, 2026. You will provide direct patient care in a stepdown unit, with potential to float to other patient care areas as needed to support operational demands.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shifts may rotate based on facility needs; the facility will make efforts to honor your preferred schedule when possible
• Commitment to work at least every other holiday required

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in a stepdown or telemetry setting
• Current, active RN license: Ohio permanent or compact state license in hand at time of application
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from past 12 months)

Onboarding & Compliance

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; acceptable score required (maximum 2 attempts)
• BCI/FBI background clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
