Travel RN – Emergency Department | Night Shift | Derby, KS

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | 36 guaranteed hours per week

Start Date: November 3, 2026

This freestanding emergency department sees a broad mix of adult and pediatric patients across varying acuity levels. The unit operates with a pod-based structure and a collaborative team of nurses, techs, physicians, and midlevel providers on every shift.

Clinical Scope

• IV starts and medication administration
• Procedural sedation
• Pediatric care (team nursing model)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• CPI Blue Card

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC certification
• Experience at higher-volume or larger emergency facilities
• Travel nursing background

Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Adaptable and able to learn quickly
• Attentive to barcode medication administration protocols (patient and medication scanning required every time)
