RN – Emergency Room | Austin, TX | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This fast-paced Emergency Department treats a broad spectrum of acuity, including cardiac, trauma, and behavioral health patients. The unit operates across dedicated care areas including a fast track zone and a behavioral health section, supported by a well-staffed, experienced team across all shifts.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Rotating weekends
• No on-call required

Clinical Scope

Nurses in this department manage a high-acuity patient population and perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central line management, airway support, trauma assists, rapid infusions, resuscitation, Morgan lens application, and behavioral health de-escalation.

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• ENPC
• TNCC
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma experience
• Inpatient holding experience
• CPI certification
