Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a medical-surgical unit. You'll deliver direct patient care across a variety of clinical conditions, performing assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 days per week
• 13-week contract
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including systems review and admission evaluations
• Document findings and develop individualized care plans based on patient acuity and needs
• Deliver competent, compassionate care aligned with licensure and regulatory standards
• Apply age-appropriate care principles across the patient population
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (state/district)
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg RN experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification – NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training
• Graduate of accredited or NLN-approved RN program

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
