Surgical Technologist – Operating Room
Assignment Overview
Join the surgical team at a busy operating room facility in the Danvers/Beverly area. You'll support a dynamic surgical program performing general, gynecologic, orthopedic, urologic, ENT, vascular, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures.
Schedule & Location
- 8-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (may extend if cases run late)
- Primary location: Danvers
- Occasional travel to Beverly facility (rare)
- 56-week contract with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Call requirement: 2–3 shifts per schedule period (11:00 PM–7:00 AM weeknights or 12-hour weekend shifts); 30-minute response time
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts license
- BLS-AHA certification
- Strong experience in orthopedic and cataract surgery
- Proficiency with DaVinci robotic-assisted procedures
- Electronic health record (EHR) competency
- Spine surgery experience preferred
Requirements
- Flu vaccine required before start (no exemptions)
- Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
- Cannot have worked at any Beth Israel facility (permanent, per diem, or travel) within the past six months
