Pre-Op Travel Position

Position Overview

Join the pre-operative team at the facility in Decatur, GA. You'll prepare patients for surgery, conduct pre-op assessments, review medical histories, and ensure all necessary paperwork and tests are complete. This role is essential to ensuring smooth surgical workflows and patient safety.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Four 9-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of relevant pre-operative nursing or clinical experience
• Current RN or LPN license (as required by state)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

What to Expect

You'll work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff in a busy pre-op setting. Responsibilities include patient education, vital signs monitoring, IV placement, chart verification, and coordination with OR teams. You may float between pre-op areas as needed.
