Emergency Room RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for night shift coverage. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Schedule: Weeknights with every 4th weekend on-call
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 91 weeks

Requirements

• Current RN license (Washington, IA)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Emergency nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

What You'll Do

and assess patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions. Perform nursing interventions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with physicians and specialists to deliver comprehensive emergency care. You'll document patient encounters, maintain a safe environment, and support the department's commitment to quality outcomes and patient safety.
