Emergency Department Nurse
Assignment Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract position in Asheville, NC. This is a full-time role working 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Role & Responsibilities
You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing a diverse patient population across all acuity levels. Responsibilities include , assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient monitoring. You may assist with procedures and collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver timely, evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Current RN license (NC)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- ER experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic environment
- Flexibility and strong communication skills
