Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Denver, CO

Join a fast-paced Emergency Department in Denver, CO on a 13-week travel contract. This mid-shift position runs 12:00 PM–12:00 AM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Overview

The ED manages a broad range of acuities, from pediatric to adult emergencies, with a collaborative team structure that includes RNs, charge nurses, and EMTs across all shifts.

Common Procedures

• Port access, IV starts, venipuncture, and nasal wash
• Point-of-care testing (troponin, lactic acid, urinalysis)
• EKG and Foley placement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ED experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• CPI Blue Card

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN or CPEN certification
• Ultrasound-guided IV competency
• Pediatric emergency experience
