Emergency Department (FSED) – Registered Nurse

Houston, TX | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Contract

This freestanding emergency department seeks an experienced RN with strong emergency nursing skills and a team-first mindset. The unit operates around the clock managing a broad range of adult and pediatric emergency presentations across a fast-paced, community-based ED setting.

Clinical Scope

• Common procedures include IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation, and splinting
• Patient population spans acuity levels typical of a full-service emergency department
• Floating may be required to a nearby freestanding ED location

Schedule & Hours

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekends as needed or every other, based on preference
• No on-call requirement

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN License
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI

Preferred Certifications

• ENPC
• NRP

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes (no open-hole clogs)
• No artificial nails; stethoscope required
