Emergency Department RN — Richmond, VA

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This Emergency Department RN role is a day shift position (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) based in Richmond, VA, with a contract start date of November 30, 2026.

Schedule & Hours

• 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend required for travelers

Unit Overview

You'll work in an active Emergency Department managing a diverse patient population across varying acuity levels. The unit is supported by PCTs and unit secretaries when staffing allows. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make genuine patient connections are essential for this role.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• ENPC
• TNCC
• CPI

Clinical Requirements

• Demonstrated ED competencies
• Ability to manage increased patient loads during surge periods

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
