Med/Surg Tele RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a rotating shift assignment. You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac and general medical-surgical conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating 3x12-hour shifts: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will honor preferences when possible
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: December 4, 2026

Float Assignments

You may float to other units to care for similar patient populations as needed.

Requirements

• 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• Active, permanent Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from work in the past 12 months
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Compliance Notes

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Background check and fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Annual competency modules required for continuous assignments
