Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll care for medical and surgical patients on telemetry monitoring, providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced unit environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: December 4, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license (in hand at submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active and current)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
• Willingness to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts to pass)
• BCI/FBI fingerprints completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Additional Information

• Charge experience is a plus
• Pre-start orientation modules required (6–15 hours average)
• Background check and drug screening required
• Extension options available up to 18 months; 6-month break follows unless deferred by facility approval
