Operating Room – Circulating RN | Laguna Hills, CA

13-Week Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (06:30–19:00)

This OR position is looking for an experienced Circulating RN to join a busy surgical team in Laguna Hills, CA. The unit handles a broad range of cases across multiple specialties, including joint replacement, spine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and robotic-assisted procedures.

Shift & Scheduling

• Days: 06:30–19:00, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Mandatory call required
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating within the facility based on census needs

Clinical Scope

The OR manages a high volume of diverse surgical cases across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations. Procedures include:

• Total joint replacement and spine surgeries (ALIF, XLIF, lumbar/anterior cervical fusion)
• Robotic-assisted cases (gynecologic, urologic, neurological, orthopedic, and general surgery platforms)
• Cardiovascular procedures including CABG, TAVR, and carotid surgeries
• General, colorectal, thoracic, and oncologic surgeries
• OB/GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastics

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of circulating RN experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• California RN license in hand at time of submission
• Pre-approved time off must be disclosed at time of submission
• One professional reference required (within 2 years)

Additional Notes

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• 8-hour orientation; non-billable compliance modules completed prior to or during orientation
