Respiratory Therapist – CVICU
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for its Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). You will provide specialized respiratory support to critically ill cardiac patients, managing ventilators, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Shift & Duration
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: November 29, 2026
Qualifications Required
- 3–5 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Current NBRC registration
- Current RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner) license through the Texas Medical Board
- Minimum 2 weeks of recent critical care experience
Credentials & Vaccinations
You will need to complete standard onboarding requirements, including:
- License/certificate verification
- Health screening (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing)
- Fit test
- Background check
- EPLS certification
- Education verification
