Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract

Apple Valley, CA | Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM) | 3x12-Hour | 13 Weeks

This is a mid-shift Emergency Department RN opportunity at an acute care facility in Apple Valley, CA. The ED manages a broad, high-acuity patient population spanning neonates through geriatrics, with clinical scope that includes stroke receiving, STEMI receiving, and all-differential emergency diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling

• 3x12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Overtime opportunities available
• Every-other-weekend coverage required; may exceed to meet unit needs
• Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
• Elevated seasonal pay rate effective through 3/1/27

Clinical Skills & Scope

• , dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, IV vasopressor administration, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, ABG interpretation, CVA and TBI management, STEMI and stroke response, and IV placement

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience (first-time travelers considered)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Active RN license required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• No pending licenses accepted
