Neurology RN — Medical/Surgical Neuro Unit
Atlanta, GA | Day Shift | 13-Week Contract
This inpatient neurology unit cares for patients with a range of acute neurological conditions, requiring sharp assessment skills and comfort managing medically complex cases. The team also manages patients with med/surg and step-down acuity, so versatility is key.
Shift Details
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3×12-hour shifts per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- No block scheduling; weekend availability required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in neurology — OR — a strong med/surg background with step-down experience may be considered
- NIHSS certification required; must be included in your CV/profile to be considered
- ACLS certification required
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation is required; please note on your profile
